Blackthorn and Wood Spirit Hand Carved Top

At the same time as the shaft, the top was gathered from a ten-year-old store of Elm two seasons ago, the shaft left to mature in its own time (sealed, of course). In the meantime, the Wood Spirit was formed. The shaft then straightened, and again, left for a while to settle before the top attached. Making for a good solid, sturdy, walking and hiking staff; a natural, with its own unique and one off characteristics.
